HYDRA SELF-CLEANING FILTER WITH 1" CONNECTIONS AND 90 MCR FILTRATION

HYDRA self-cleaning filters are designed with innovative solutions for efficient cartridge self-cleaning, thanks to a backwash that ensures high particle removal from the cartridge. When the cartridge needs cleaning, the backwash cleaning operation is triggered simply by opening the drain ball valve at the bottom of the filter. This operation causes a pressure drop that pushes the cartridge down toward the bottom of the container and reverses the flow of water from inside to outside the cartridge. It is this counterflow that cleans and flushes the impurities trapped on the cartridge's outer surface.
The HYDRA filter is equipped with a drain funnel, a device for protecting drinking water from contamination in plumbing systems, designed to prevent backflow, in compliance with the European standard UNI EN 1717 of November 2002. This device prevents backflow by venting all elements downstream of the exhaust valve to the atmosphere.

All HYDRA filters are supplied with a complete set of accessories: S wall bracket and fixing screws, X wrench, brass drain ball valve with gasket, drain hose connector, plastic nipple with O-ring, and drain funnel.
