K-MATIC IS THE TIMED VALVE THAT AUTOMATES THE CLEANING OF YOUR HYDRA SERIES FILTER: OPTIMIZES FILTER CLEANING TO IMPROVE YOUR WATER QUALITY.
K-Matic is a device that allows you to convert the cleaning procedure for Hydra self-cleaning filters from manual to automatic, keeping the cartridge clean regularly.
K-Matic allows you to program the filter drain openings and the duration of each opening, ensuring optimal operation of the entire system.

How does K-Matic work?
The K-Matic is simple and compact and connects to the glass drain using the included brass swivel fitting.
The K-Matic valve has an intuitive, easily programmable, and easy-to-read interface. It doesn't require electricity: a simple 9V battery is enough to operate the valve and do the work for you.
The Safety Stop function closes the valve if the battery is low, and the manual flush function can be helpful if excessive dirt requires extra cleaning.

How often should I set the K-Matic?
The frequency of your car wash should be set based on the quality of your starting water, the type of dirt, and your specific needs: water with a high level of impurities will require more frequent and longer washes; conversely, less dirty water will require less frequent and longer cleaning.
The interval between the two valve openings and the duration of each individual opening are programmable with the following options:
- Interval - 12 hours, 24 hours, 7, 15, 30 days
- Duration - 10", 20"
Each valve opening is followed by a second opening with a fixed duration of 3", which increases the effectiveness of the flush.

K-Matic: Which products is it compatible with?
It is compatible with all products in the Hydra and Hydra Rainmaster series (excluding the Hydra Big and Hydra Hot series). This solenoid valve can also be combined with all filters with a drain with a 1/2" BSPP M threaded connection.
