Dimensions A x B x C in mm: 1016 x 29 x 201 (see photo)

DOW FILMTEC BW30-PRO 400 Reverse Osmosis Membrane (Diameter 8" x Length 40").
DOW Filmtec BW30-PRO 400 RO membranes are most commonly used in industrial process water treatment systems and feature a minimum rejection rate of 99.0%.
DOW FILMTEC BW30-PRO 400 membrane elements are the ideal osmosis membranes when high-quality permeates are required.
The BW30-PRO 400 is an 8-inch DOW FILMTEC™ brackish water reverse osmosis (BWRO) element that can separate salts from water.
The BW30-PRO 400 is produced using an automated manufacturing process that ensures precision, consistency, and reliability.

The BW30-PRO 400 is ideal for industrial and municipal water treatment systems producing more than 10 GPM of permeate. It offers higher rejection rates while using less energy and resists foulants in difficult waters. It is the best choice for controlled pretreatment waters and is looking for consistent, high performance, long component life, and increased productivity.

Important Information
Proper startup of reverse osmosis water treatment systems is essential to prepare membranes for operational service and to prevent membrane damage due to overfeeding or hydraulic shock. Following the correct startup sequence also helps ensure that system operating parameters comply with design specifications to achieve the system's water quality and productivity objectives.
Before starting system startup procedures, membrane pretreatment, membrane element loading, instrument calibration, and other system checks must be completed.

Operation Guidelines
Avoid sudden pressure changes or crossflow on the scroll elements during startup, shutdown, cleaning, or other sequences to prevent possible membrane damage. During startup, a gradual transition from shutdown to operation is recommended, as follows:

The feed pressure should be gradually increased over 30–60 seconds.
The crossflow velocity at the set operating point should be gradually achieved over 15–20 seconds.
The permeate from the first hour of operation should be discarded.
General: Keep the elements moist at all times after initial wetting.
If the operating limits and guidelines provided in this bulletin are not strictly adhered to, the DOW™ FILMTEC™ Reverse Osmosis and Nanofiltration Three-Year Prorated Limited Warranty (Form No. 609-02077) will be void.
To prevent biological growth during extended system downtime, it is recommended to soak the membrane elements in a preservative solution.
The customer is fully responsible for the effects of incompatible chemicals and lubricants on the elements.
The maximum pressure drop across an entire pressure vessel (housing) is 3.4 bar (50 psi).
Always avoid static backpressure on the permeate side.
