pH / Redox electrodes.
The electrodes are made of epoxy plastic material (Epoxy) which guarantees a long life and constant use with pressures up to 7bar.
The "KCl" electrolyte placed inside the electrode is in the form of a gel and does not require any maintenance. Pads are available
both with coaxial cable and BNC connector, and with SN6 screw electrode connector and BNC connector for the instrument.

- Detection range: from 0 to 14pH ; ±2000mV
- Working temperature: from 0 to 80°C
- Maximum working pressure: 7bar

The life of the electrode varies according to the working conditions: temperature, type of solution (acid or alkaline).
Generally with an ambient working temperature and a mild chemical solution, the estimated time varies from 1 to 2 years.
Increasing the temperature will drastically reduce the life of the electrode. Stored electrodes age slowly.

Calibration
The frequency of calibration depends on the solution to be measured and on the knowledge of the plant operator.
To do this, remove the electrode from the storage bottle or remove the protective cap.
Wash with running water and dry by shaking the electrode in the air. Do not dry by rubbing: this would cause the formation of charges
electrostatics capable of influencing the reading capacity of the electrode. When the electrode is ready, carry out the new calibration following the instructions of the instrument to which it is connected. Always use fresh buffer solutions.

Cleaning
If the reading response from the electrode is slow or inaccurate, the electrode is probably dirty. Cleaning is necessary to remove any encrustations. Wash the electrode with running water and then immerse it in an acid solution with HCl (maximum concentration 10%) for about 5 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly and carry out a new calibration.

Storage
Always store the electrodes in the original bottles / protective caps containing the maintenance liquid (pH 4 transparent - KCl).
Pads left dry become damaged / slow response.

NOTE:
- Do not use this probe with negative pressures (vacuum)
- Never leave the probe tip dry
- Do not use in freezing environments
- Remove the label on the cap of the Redox probe before taking it off
