The BASIC Ag filter acts as a triple-action filter system:
- mechanical filtration and chemical adsorption performed by the 0.5-micron Carbon Block: both ensure the reduction
of chlorine and suspended microparticles, thus significantly improving the taste and odor of treated water;
- bacteriostatic action (Ag principle), i.e., the silver salts impregnated into the Carbon Block: perform an important bacteriostatic action, preventing bacteria from proliferating inside the filter.

We recommend using our BASIC Ag filter cartridges:
- as pre-filtration in reverse osmosis systems;
- in technological systems and household appliances.

REFINER filters guarantee high flow rates and autonomy as well as low pressure drop.

WARNING: This device requires regular maintenance to ensure the treated drinking water meets the potability requirements and maintains the improvements declared by the manufacturer. Do not use with microbiologically unsafe water. After extended periods of inactivity (3/4 weeks), thoroughly sanitize or replace the filter.
